Mia Henry

Mia Henry (she | her) is a nationally-recognized trainer, facilitator, and leadership coach. She is the CEO of Freedom Lifted, a firm that provides trainings for nonprofits and public libraries grounded in justice and equity. Previously, Mia was the founding director of the Chicago Freedom School and the executive director of the Arcus Center for Social Justice Leadership. She has degrees from Rutgers University and the University of Pennsylvania, as well as knowledge passed down from elders and ancestors and gifted through collaborative relationships with communities across the US.

Things to know about the Facilitator Training

  • How much does the training cost?

    75-min sessions are $395 each. A 3.5-hour intensive session with Mia is $995.

  • What is the format and duration of the training?

    The training is delivered virtually via Zoom. You can either sign up for a 75-minute session which covers ONE of the three parts in the Justice at Work training or a 3.5-hour intensive which covers all three.

  • What are the exact times of the training?

    After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to schedule a time that works for your calendar.

  • What does the training include?

    As a participant, you'll receive personal and customized instruction and coaching from Mia. You also get access to online modules with sample slides and facilitation tips.
